The Afghanistan Health Assessment Center (AHAC) is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive Professional Development Program aimed at strengthening the skills, knowledge, and expertise of its team and advancing the quality of migration health services in Afghanistan.

As a dedicated Migration Health Clinic, AHAC remains committed to continuously improving its practices and aligning its services with internationally recognized standards and best practices in health assessment and migration health.

20 Weeks of Professional Development

The program consists of 20 intensive training sessions delivered over 20 weeks, providing a structured and progressive approach to professional development. Each session is designed to enhance the knowledge, practical skills, and professional capabilities of the AHAC team.

The program focuses on strengthening local capacity and promoting adherence to internationally recognized standards and guidance, including those of the World Health Organization (WHO), International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Panel Physician Association (IPPA), and other relevant international organizations.

The training sessions are supported by comprehensive course materials developed in Europe by the International Panel Physician Association (IPPA) in Portugal.
